Balihoo Teams With Boise State University Professor
Nearing Product Launch, Company Appoints Dr. Amit Jain as Chief Scientist
BOISE, Idaho - January 21, 2007 - Balihoo Inc., a company that is developing a groundbreaking
web-based solution for the advertising industry, today announced that it has teamed
with Boise State professor, Dr. Amit Jain, computer science faculty in the College
of Engineering, to help design and scale the evolution of its product.
Balihoo plans its Beta release in February 2007 and is planning for full market
release in mid-2007. In anticipation of its product release, the company is
continuing its investment in technology research and development and overall scalability
of its web-based solution. The partnership established with Dr. Jain highlights
Balihoo's commitment to building a world-class product as well as its dedication
to building strong ties with Boise State and the greater Boise community.

Dr. Jain, who is known for his work in the areas of parallel computing systems and
languages, system/hardware software architecture, and implementation of parallel
algorithms, will work in a part-time capacity with Balihoo in addition to his research
efforts and teaching graduate and undergraduate courses at Boise State.
Dr. Jain holds his PhD in Computer Science from the University of Central Florida
and his Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian
Institute of Technology, New Delhi.

The Balihoo product will be available to a limited number of Beta users in February
2007. Currently there are over 30 significant media and advertising companies
involved in the Beta program representing over $25Billion of US media spend.
The company has grown five-fold in the last year and will continue to look for the
best software development and media talent for its Boise location.
